GNSS antennas are a critical but often overlooked part of a receiver setup. Choosing a correct antenna is hugely important since antennas are the main interface between the GNSS space segment and the user, as they capture the L-band signals transmitted by satellites. Antenna must be able to convert the energy in the electromagnetic waves arriving from the satellites into an electric current that is further processed by the receiver. Given that signals received from GNSS satellite are weak and arriving from any direction, it is clear that choosing the correct antenna is imperative. Choosing the optimal GNSS antenna for the application will maximize GNSS receiver’s positioning performance.

The 8117D GPS L1/GLONASS antenna is a high performance antenna with a wide voltage range, ideally suited to telematics platforms for use in vehicle-mounted applications. With a wideband patch, this antenna was designed to operate at GPS L1 as well as GLONASS L1 frequencies. Using internal magnets or screw mount holes, the antenna can be installed almost anywhere on a vehicle allowing for greater flexibility. The 8117D antenna features 28 dB gain low noise amplifier and a SAW filter. With 2.7 to 5 volt operation, the antenna can be used with the vast majority of GPS L1 and GLONASS systems available.

The NV2410 is a professional grade GNSS antenna covering the GPS L1, GLONASS L1 and SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS & MSAS) frequency band (1574 to 1606 MHz).  It is especially designed for precision industrial, agricultural and military applications and offers excellent circular polarized signal reception, multipath rejection and out of band signal rejection.

The GPSL1GL-TMG-40N timing reference antennas are specifically designed for long-lasting, trouble-free deployments in congested cell-site applications. The low noise, high gain amplifier is well suited to address attenuation issues associated with applications requiring longer cable runs.
